Self esteem is a very difficult thing to work on. There is a fine line from knowing our value an the sin of pride.  True self esteem knows we r "made in the Image an Likeness of God".   It knows we deserve, as every human being, respect an love. The Spark of God is in every one of us an therefore everyone deserves our kindness an respect. There comes a time wen we learn our value an it becomes less an less necessary to demand it from others or even correct them. Humility plays a sacred role as we build a healthy holy self esteem in God .  We can let another win in a battle even though we may actually be rt for love an mercy's sake .Wen we start to b able to do this, we no we r starting to walk a little more with The Divine rather than humans.  It is vitally important for us to cleave to God so that all our attempts to grow insure we r getting the proper Sonlight, Water an Nutrients to insure a great outcome an therefore a great harvest. Let's let God lead us in our healing an self esteem work an we will surely surpass the world's view of wat a healthy self esteem is an reach heights we never thought possible.  An let us forgive everyone in family...friends..teachers...all those who influenced us negatively by bullying us or telling us we weren't gd enough all our lives... because in practicing this higher principle of forgiveness we obey God an the fruit of obedience is beyond anything we can imagine. Let us as Christians start to use our time wisely. It is time for hours in prayer, it is time to simplify our homes and clean drawers closets and drop off things to the poor.. everything we won't and cannot use. He is gd. I am tired an a little under the weather but now i can focus on me a bit. The adjustment.... the long needed discussions of the reality that both he an i thought he was going to die alone in a hosp during this pandemic....it is surreal...
overwhelming...mind bogaling....all in a gd way.  Ptsd....but we have tears an joy that will take gd care of us!  LOVE WINS ...LOVE WINS EVERY TIME ...OH MY...TY GOD!!😂
We r psychologically drained ...we ate we talked...he layed down ....so i took a nap.. any time he sleeps i must rest cause i need to rest.

My son is home from the hospital. Blessed Easter!!

This day I declare that Our God is Alive ..I declare that God protects His Own.. I declare that the prayers of the righteous availeth much..so to everyone who has uttered a prayer for us.. u r now part of Joes Miracle 2020... I just received the call that is flat-out miraculous after being told that my son was serious last night one step away from critical. I just got a call... Joseph does not need oxygen... he is walking around holding 94-95 oxygen saturation on his own...I will have the privilege shortly to pick him up and bring him home. After being told he would have a Long Hospital stay, Our God had a different prognosis. God bless everyone who took care of him and I ask you to continue to pray for him and me as we finish his recovery at home. Praise be to God.. kisses and gratitude to Our Lady of Guadalupe who never forgot our annointed redition of her song" I'm Your Mother "which we gave to her. I am at a loss for words...nothing...absolutely nothing could express my joy...Easter has come early this year!

I am grieving this yr. It is the first yr i will not b doin Church Music for Holy Week in 50 yrs.  Many of us cannot attend Mass or receive Blessed Palms to open our Holiest Week of the yr. We must make due an enter more deeply in these Masses/Services as never before. Our world needs us ...every one of us is carrying the sick..the dying..an our world which needs to b rid of this virus. Lets take seriously our responsibility...find God anew...convert an repent of the error...filth...compromise in our lives.  Jews, Muslims, Catholics, Orthodox, Anglicans, Methodus, Lutherans...every form of Christianity...an all other religions....i invite u to join us.We need to begin again an unite in prayer, fasting, an almsgiving.  God will hear us an answer if we do something.  Watever we would want to hide from God if we were goin to die this moment ..these r the things that need drastic change in our lives.

As u watch Mass, ask God to bless again the palms from last yr in ur home an He will. Wat a simple way to help people locked down in their homes...look thru ur photo  albums an send a few pics by text that can make people smile!  Try it...u feel great wen u no they enjoyed them! An u get to enjoy some great older memories again .

We need to shut the news an bake cookies...listen to gd inspirational music...pray...watch uplifting tv an computer material..think of ways to reach out to others to help them smile during these hard days...make some calls, write some letters...we need to get creative to stay balanced an peaceful for ourselves an all those in our inner circle of family an friends.  Ministry always starts in ur inner circle .We may reach millions, but if we neglect our responsibilities to our parents, spouses, children, siblings neighbors, friends etc. ,which is our primary calling in life, we have failed!

Lets try to use this time well...interior growth...relationship with God...improving virtues an character in our families..simplifying our dwellings to share our gds with others...emptying our storage units that r not needed...an then outreach to others. Even just texting a positive message .

By the grace of God i have had many beautiful people call on me to ck on us to offer to pay a bill, shop for me, go shopping together an cover the cost ...offered money...to help me an my disabled son during this crisis... one of whom was a holy priest of God, another my sister, another distant cousin, a dear old friend who i grew up with from church choir an a local neighbor/ friend.  Imagine...all of these people offering to care for us like the early church did one another . Our God lives an He will continue to care for His Own!

Wake up call to humanity amid covid19

How easy it is for us to have the right talk of faith. But this is the time for us ,each one, to really put into action what we often say. How easy to pray when we have services at our places of worship and when we leave the ediface, application is often forgotten as the week goes on. Too often in our times God has been ignored, made fun of, people who follow him are considered Fanatics or extreme and told to change.  God is loving and merciful and I have always shared that in my blogs. But we must remember that God will not be made a fool of. He is not some little guy on the side that we can call in and demand things from or give a list to like Santa Claus. He looks for those whose hearts are stayed on him. There's only one way to make a relationship with Him an that is to spend time with, to speak to, to pray to, and then to listen. It is time, while we are all shut down in our homes, to stop, pray and listen. It is a time for all of us to re-evaluate our lives and see where we went wrong walking away from our God both individually ,in our neighborhoods and communities ,in our country and as a human race. As we make all these promises to God let us remember that these promises are to be kept after covid-19 passes. It is no longer an option.   We are one nation under God and we need to start obeying the Ten Commandments and the two Commandments of Love: love God with all your mind, with all your heart , with all  your soul ,with all your strength ..and love your neighbor as yourself. We are very fortunate to have television, computers and phones. Let us use them now, not to waste time in greed in purchasing worldly things.  Let us use them to grow in our faith, to pray and to learn more about God. For us Catholics EWTN on television is on 24/7 with great Catholic networking ,educational shows, ways to grow up our faith. For other denominations there are many other channels also available. On YouTube one can look up all types of videos on faith, God ,prayer , uplifting music, hope, Scriptures , Saints, the list is endless . Scripture says to pray without ceasing and we have been granted an opportunity to slow down and see how we can apply this to our lives. For those of you with children in your home, rather than be annoyed, see this as an opportunity to draw your family closer to you and to God with you. It is a time to re-establish the family unit ; husband, wife and children and 2 impact our children's lives so that they actually might reflect more their parents rather then their child care provider, then their  School teachers. Although it's difficult, it's a wonderful opportunity for us to see where our children are at ..their thinking patterns, their belief system and help guide them to the Light. Sadly sometimes it takes extreme situations to actually be reminded of what matters in life. God matters, people matter,  everything else runs second to these. May The God of the Universe, our Higher Power come and reveal Himself to us in ways we never thought possible. May we fall on our knees, cry for our sins, repent, learn more about him and develop an intimate loving relationship with the ONE who knit us together.  May He heal and protect all the living, especially all those on the front lines caring for the sick..bless all those in leadership to know what to do  ..for those who have died that they may be embraced in the Merciful Arms of God and for all of humanity to look deep in our souls to find God ,to repent of the sins that we have been doing and mistakes that we have been making, repent of them and change and go forward with a new loving intimate relationship with the True living God and may we show that in our obedience to Him. To God Alone be all honor and glory and Power forever!! in Jesus Name i pray! amen. Caution: Wen we want to serve in every ministry...

Pray to God what ministries He wants from you. It is not good to be in many groups and not a master at any of them. Pray where God wants you and do what He says. Sometimes we Christians Catholics believe that the more things we participate in the more God is pleased and that is often not the case. Especially if we cannot give 100% to where we are both at home first then at work and then in the various ministries.

We have to keep our eye on whether our involvement in many activities is a bit obsessive compulsive. We have to see whether we think we have to earn heaven and maybe we think more is better.  we should discern what does God want us to do and often He prefers us to stay home and love on our family then to be running around wearing ourselves out thinking that our salvation is something we have to do rather than a gift that God already did for us. I will pray for you in this regard. As we mature I have found people require more silence.. less activites.. a desire for intimate Union with Christ rather than the social aspects of groups and doing doing doing. Please don't do what i tell you ....take this information i have given and go to God and pray and you will know where he wants you to be. Praised b Jesus Christ now am forever!

Friday an fasting

Today is Friday and it has been a long time practice from the early church fathers and mothers that Christians fasted on Fridays. The Scriptures say the three-fold cord to win over the Heart of God and please Him is prayer ..fasting and almsgiving. Too often we make a goal too hard to achieve with fasting. Fasting can be pushing away one cookie or driving in the car without the radio on or not watching your favorite TV show. We start small and then build upon it. This helps us become more mindful of God throughout the day. Let's try today 2 fast in one simple way and offer it in Thanksgiving to Jesus for all that He suffered... taking our place on the Cross on Good Friday. The Gospel for today was from Luke chapter 5: 33 to 39 .  One Line from that says.. "but the days will come when the Bridegroom is taken away from them then they will fast in those days."  Try to read the entire Passage wen u can.   And in this practice of fasting we aim to become new wineskins able to receive the New Wine that God wants to pour into us and into our lives. Praised be Jesus Christ now and forever!!!

What I have found in my own life as a caregiver is people r afraid to get involved with anyone especially if they have a seizure disorder... neurological impairment...
vision/perception issues... Neuropsychiatric issues and mental illness.. including but not limited to ..anxiety, depression ,bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, dementia, memory loss, Alzheimer's....of any age...They are scared by what they don't know or understand and don't have the gift to love someone through yet  They can also be very judgmental and opinionated when they know nothing of what is going on. Sometimes it is just too painful for them to see someone they care about suffering so much. ..an sometimes it is just plain neglect an lack of compassion..But watever the case may be...I totally understand one's sense of Abandonment from many people. i have shared much with regard to some of the similar sufferings that we encountered as people caring for someone so very sick physically ,neurologically and/or mentally. ...Be patient...serve with all ur heart as if for Jesus Himself without focusing on who is not there .For in the end we caregivers an those we serve r granted memories that will last into Eternity.  God knows all we do an the rewards both now an later promise to b OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!

Dont b cheep with air conditioning in churches

Church leaders...plz do not b opposed to using ur air conditioning... Plz consider putting AC on early enough to make it comfortable for ur congregation.  It will help  people feel comfortable an b able to focus more on prayer. Most services have older people attending..an many with serious health issues..most people cannot tolerate high humidity with heat ..  Some churches consider it a ministry to keep church cool for poor people to come an get some relief from oppressive heat even during weekdays. People come into church but if ac is not on, sometimes they leave an go to other churches or go home ...an some elderly wont come to church because they feel they cannot count on the heat an ac to b at a level where they can b safe. Praying for u as u continue to take care of ur congregations which is no easy job!

Let us renew our commitment of serious Warfare for ourselves our spouses and our children.  May we all be healed... saved.. come to know Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior and stay truly committed to the Holy Roman Catholic church and its teachings. 90...weary...preparing for death...unsure if still Catholic

A note to one in their 90s who is tired an weary an wants to go to God.  Often the case for those in their 90s especially those ill an those poorly supported by family an friends. The danger comes wen they may rush God's Hand instead of waiting for His Perfect Time . But this person is wrestling with whether she is still Catholic...an so my response...

And although our church leaders and members often show they're uglier sides as in many places of worship an society today, we remain Catholic because we fortunately have Truth in Fullness. We r The Church, sinners an saints. You were baptized, made Confession, Holy Communion and Confirmation. You are a sacramental Catholic and that makes you a part of our church. Your Love of the Blessed Mother, your parents & godparents intervention and example to you says you are Catholic no matter what words you use, you are ours. That doesn't mean a perfect Church that doesn't mean a perfect life it means that you can't undo the wonderful Miracles God has done in your life. And the fact that you sacrificed greatly to give your children faith & an education in Catholic schools speaks Worlds 2 me and I know to God. Look for virtue.. learn from other religions an Love

I wanted to mention something...at times we can bring up another's Faith in a very negative lite. i recognize that we all think, we have the Truth in Fullness... but often these comments r not brought up to instruct us on the differences of another religion but randomly thrown in our preaching or conversations an done sarcastically at times in hate an prejudice. I would like to suggest a more loving approach.  It is good for us to learn the truth about other religions an necessary to prevemt us from being confused an to b informed, but always with the love an respect Jesus would want us to have with any other human being. St Francis taught us this by example wen meeting with Sultan Malik al-Kamil, the Muslim leader, in peaceful dialogue during war. Married couples struggling

12 am on Mother's Day nite...i stumbled on the movie Fireproof which i have not seen in yrs. I was tired an ready to go to bed but my heart stood up to watch it an wen i see anything regarding marriage i think an pray hard for all marriages. And so i stood up til 2 am...cried thru the movie interceding for all of us...together..separated...an even divorced since even divorced couples r still married in the eyes of the Roman Catholic Church.  Any chance u mite consider watching it together with ur spouse?...an maybe ...just maybe read The Love Dare book one day at a time??........i dont believe in coincidences..
an stumbling upon my friend singing that song I WILL BE HERE an this movie the next day was very unusual....so i suspect God is trying to
get our attention...i actually loved the Love Dare materials because they r applicable in all areas of life in learning how to really Love others not just limited in marriage.  I am looking for my copy to reread an try to apply....maybe u can do the same.

U r a saint in the making ...wat most do each an every day is trivial meaningless work...u carry great things....drive that into ur heart...u carry that beautiful child ...a special child...
everything u do for him or her u r doing to Christ.
May God remind us of this wen the task of a disabled child becomes too great for us....
wen being alone cripples us...may we remember Jesus says He is The Husband of the widow....

Sometimes it is better not to meet over lunch for spiritual planning...but rather meet in a quiet room...pray an lite a candle...read a Scripture an then brainstorm in The Spirit...a far better way to really hear from God ...til next time...

Mentally ill

People with severe mental illness often feel others do not believe they r really ill.  They no most speak as if their walk...life an sufferings ..r in vain or have had no value. It is hurtful wen someone illudes to the fact that another's sufferings could b gone in an instant by their laying of hands or some other idea like tough love.  God is in charge even wen we dont understand or disagree with wat is going on in someone elses life.  It is not unusual for people to refer to the mentally ill persons life as a "shame"...as if they have no value...that surely was not a word Jesus would have said to any one. Sometimes people need to gently walk thru life.. ...which includes some work an suffering. 
All God's children continue to evolve in the way that is deigned for them by God ...for healing continues to b a very personal an individual road according to each person's needs, make up, an background. Too much might break someone an too little stagnates growth ...an that line differs for all of us.  Our presentation is vital so not to discourage one soul on their journey...we cannot have all the answers...only God does ....especially wen we have not walked thru with someone.  To those suffering with mental illness i say Don't worry, go forward always taking into consideration all the ideas an input people have given u, taking wat will work for u...wat u discern from prayer as applicable for ur situation an safety an wat u can handle.  I am sure the tremendouse medical teams would shed much lite on those who talk negative about people who r sick an on their limited interpretation of the mentally ill an their sufferings. May we become a blessing to a person suffering with mental illness...dont look far...i am sure there us 1 rt in ur family/friend circle...an if u r sick, hold on...lets listen to

Mistreatment ..abusive relationships

No one deserves mistreatment...... We are not responsible for others lives or their happiness... or their situations and by no means should we internalize anything negative that comes out of anyone.. If we must ...separate from those abusive people who feel they have all the answers for our lives...who beat us up every time we r together.

We are God's children...The Lord knows us.. . loves us ...accepts us ..and appreciates us ..we should never let anything rule our peace or our joy ...and if we make a mistake...we can confess an go forward..if we still cant attain peace....we can go to mass or call our priest...go to confession ..go speak to them.. Or visit with a person who truly luvs us an who luvs God..it'll help.

 These past Days... Holy Thursday ..Good Friday and the Easter Vigil are missed by most Catholics and they are the central most glorious of all our Mass Celebrations. We go to receive Jesus Christ The King of the Universe and participate in this Vigil celebration of His Resurrection.....  when you experience Holy Thursday... Good Friday and the Vigil for the first time at a Catholic Church you will never miss it again in your life because it is life changing...

We all desperately need the Mercy of God everyday.. every minute. Catholic Mystic beginners booklist

I really think that we should start to read more of the mystics.

There is a book 1. Armchair Mystic by Mark Thibodeaux and it is a book about easing into contemplative prayer...
2.  Abandonment to Divine Providence by Jean Pierre de Caussade...
3.  An old book is called Spiritual Diary ... selected sayings and examples of saints ..it was put out by Saint Paul Editions.. I hope you can find it
4.   A Desert in the Ocean by David Adam ..it is the spiritual journey according to Saint Brendan the Navigator.

These books are not ordinary I only recommend them to those who hunger for more of God. In order for us to go deeper we need to read from the lives of those who went deep before us... the mystics... the martyrs ...the saints that walked before us. There's lots of wisdom and years of experience in these types of books. LEARNING TO DISCERN THE 'VOICE' OF GOD...

Learning to discern Gods Voice starts with praying sincerely looking for His answer an then doing wat feels right deep inside...lets join together in prayer today for God to b clear wat is best ..for He has the Whole Picture which we dont. Then wen u revisit should i or shouldnt i...u see wat feels rt for u an if 1 thing still ping pongs with joy deep down...then that is it.. that is wat God wants...the process is that simple. This is a process of learning a different way to live than the way we were raised...God has the Right Answer every time...we just have to ask ,listen an then proceed.

And we quiet those noisey voices that continue to think God will tell us
indirectly thru them.  He needs no inbetweens...if we stay close to Him...He will relay His Messages directly to us....

talking with others is always gd cause many minds r better than 1...an it is gd to see all options ...but the ultimate choice is always ours. Even God does not take away our freedom to choose.. .so always go to those people who talk with no demanding that their way is the only way...go to people who will talk an then push u into the arms of God to finalize ur decision. An always wait til it feels rt....wen in doubt... stand still an pray some more. ..this is a Great life Principle.....LEARNING TO DISCERN THE 'VOICE' OF GOD...

What this is...is a session in Spiritual Direction which is what I help many great people do. It is different than counseling but can be extremely helpful in life. Majority of the Saints before us all had spiritual directors to help them stay the course to God and fulfilling their purpose and Mission in this life. People often ask why i want to help everyone...why do i care...every person is my little sister ..brother ..my friend... a child of God.. therefore we are related...of course i care!!!

If the idea u r discerning is a good an holy idea....keep asking God which choice is better for u..but we need to separate rt an wrong an if neither is a sin or a bad decision...then it is just a beautiful option. ...an we can calmly wait on the guidance from God....wen it feels so right...wen u no because u no...That is God...THAT is Him...ur joy an energy may explode...or it may just sit well in ur heart....

I pray we learn to sit at The Masters Feet in silence waiting patiently on His Instructions alone......

almsgiving to a single woman who lost her 30 yr old son in a car accident to help her with her expenses. I just gifted her without a word...but in my mind an heart i offered it as part of the 3 things that we do wen we want to cover people in prayer...next my 9 am mass this morning will b the prayer component ...an last i am fasting this morning also. I tell u not because i want any attention but to remind u of how we fight wen life is too much an is overwhelming an wen we want to get Gods Attention an Help. Prayer...Fasting..an Almsgiving..3..a knot of 3 cords is stronger than 1 or 2 strands...The Bible says that a 3 Strand will not break. An so...this is even better if u join someone an it b 2 or even 3  doing this together for an intention....it is very simple an personal an does not have to b alot or lengthy or the same things i did.  God bless...look for Gods Miracles......plz remember me ....Blessed Sunday...rest an enjoy...dance in the kitchen an get someone u luv chocolate an flowers.😊

The world has lost its respect for the value of all life...from conception to natural death. Our elders r forgotten an buried long before they die. The lessons learned an growth achieved in this most marvelous journey of caregiving can never be attained elsewhere. I pray we all look in our family circles an find those chronically ill an those too old to care for themselves an pray we gladly reach out to carry an love them through...to advocate an fight for their dignity an proper care.

I want to thank all the Medical Professionals who cared for Mom through all this. I especially thank all those Angels who served an helped me in any capacity to lighten my load an embellish Mom's life with Love an visits.

Prescription wen u dont no wat to do

We cannot force anything on anybody even if
reconciliation is their greatest desire also.   We cannot tell any one what to do or when. Wen we r unsure wat to do here is the prescription every time:

Go to church and sit in silence. Do this before the Blessed Sacrament and let Christ speak to you ...to your soul. Anytime your mind starts to interfere pleading or trying to bring forth its own agenda ask for it to be quiet and just be still asking Christ to speak clearly the how.. the if and the when of a meeting....dont rush this meeting...but dont delay...always remember the Scripture EVEN IF HIS MIND FAIL HIM referring to parents....but that applies to every human being including ourselves. Everyone is entitled to Mercy by God's Design. Try to approach this by watching cautiously ur tone...Do i sound like a modern catty demanding overbearing liberal person or do i reflect the Holy.. Loving.. Warm.. Obedient ..Conservative ..willing to Listen.. Patience of My Dear Mother Mary...this is the only sure way to become the saints God created us to b ...a saint an nothing less!!!!

caution about predicting sentiment or anxiety...one cannot  no a person really well with no regular contact or real relationship or without being God Himself...an remember no HAS TO...SHOULD HAVE...OR COULD HAVE...every one is free an if God doesnt take any of our freedom...or wag his pointer finger in our face then we cannot do that either....this is hard stuff wen we want revenge or wen we want so badly justice....
