on our watch. ..."misfits", as the world calls them, usually have great lessons to teach us...like mayb we all r misfits...or mayb we r the misfits an they r whole .Either way we get to give hospitality every time we do unto others to Jesus Himself,...especially in the more difficult situations. Lets be courageous...lets invite someone new an different to our tables this week....God promises a lesson we will never forget!!!  An He surely knows we have lots to learn.

Sin...confession...contrition...Holy Week begins

We all desperately need the Mercy of God everyday.. every minute. Sometimes we fall hard ...God allows the fall an then tries to get our attention to make us realize that we better watch ourselves that maybe we're becoming prideful and we think maybe we don't need God. Confess...lets begin with a good confession this Holy Week...tell him we r sorry...cry an wail....look at a Crucifix an b reminded u an i put Him there...watch Passion of The Christ Movie an own our own contributions to His Death an Sufferings.  Then beg for help to do some more prayer ..fasting an almsgiving to thank Him an beg again for help to sincerely amend our lives...

Catholic Mystic beginners booklist

I really think that we should start to read more of the mystics.

There is a book 1. Armchair Mystic by Mark Thibodeaux and it is a book about easing into contemplative prayer...
2.  Abandonment to Divine Providence by Jean Pierre de Caussade...
3.  An old book is called Spiritual Diary ... selected sayings and examples of saints ..it was put out by Saint Paul Editions.. I hope you can find it
4.   A Desert in the Ocean by David Adam ..it is the spiritual journey according to Saint Brendan the Navigator.

These books are not ordinary I only recommend them to those who hunger for more of God. In order for us to go deeper we need to read from the lives of those who went deep before us... the mystics... the martyrs ...the saints that walked before us. There's lots of wisdom and years of experience in these types of books. LEARNING TO DISCERN THE 'VOICE' OF GOD...

Learning to discern Gods Voice starts with praying sincerely looking for His answer an then doing wat feels right deep inside...lets join together in prayer today for God to b clear wat is best ..for He has the Whole Picture which we dont. Then wen u revisit should i or shouldnt i...u see wat feels rt for u an if 1 thing still ping pongs with joy deep down...then that is it.. that is wat God wants...the process is that simple. This is a process of learning a different way to live than the way we were raised...God has the Right Answer every time...we just have to ask ,listen an then proceed.

And we quiet those noisey voices that continue to think God will tell us
indirectly thru them.  He needs no inbetweens...if we stay close to Him...He will relay His Messages directly to us....

talking with others is always gd cause many minds r better than 1...an it is gd to see all options ...but the ultimate choice is always ours. Even God does not take away our freedom to choose.. .so always go to those people who talk with no demanding that their way is the only way...go to people who will talk an then push u into the arms of God to finalize ur decision. An always wait til it feels rt....wen in doubt... stand still an pray some more. ..this is a Great life Principle.....LEARNING TO DISCERN THE 'VOICE' OF GOD...

What this is...is a session in Spiritual Direction which is what I help many great people do. It is different than counseling but can be extremely helpful in life. Majority of the Saints before us all had spiritual directors to help them stay the course to God and fulfilling their purpose and Mission in this life. People often ask why i want to help everyone...why do i care...every person is my little sister ..brother ..my friend... a child of God.. therefore we are related...of course i care!!!

If the idea u r discerning is a good an holy idea....keep asking God which choice is better for u..but we need to separate rt an wrong an if neither is a sin or a bad decision...then it is just a beautiful option. ...an we can calmly wait on the guidance from God....wen it feels so right...wen u no because u no...That is God...THAT is Him...ur joy an energy may explode...or it may just sit well in ur heart....

I pray we learn to sit at The Masters Feet in silence waiting patiently on His Instructions alone......

Wen a man an woman r being led by God to begin a new life truly as ONE that is the time to forego ur pasts to journey forward doing wat ur souls hunger for...ignoring all the noisey voices around an following God in ur hearts. Wen in doubt stop...stand still...an pray...If u dont start to stand against the tide an stand on ur own journey...u may find urself fighting with others ur whole life to evolve an live FREELY to fulfill ur mission an purpose...they will sadly continue to interfere an dominate in every decision that lies ahead. Cant plz everyone ...an it is only necessary to plz God first an follow His Lead which He shows us in our hearts an desires wen we stay close to Him.  Stay true to who u r.

Good morning...Made an  offering...a tythe...
almsgiving to a single woman who lost her 30 yr old son in a car accident to help her with her expenses. I just gifted her without a word...but in my mind an heart i offered it as part of the 3 things that we do wen we want to cover people in prayer...next my 9 am mass this morning will b the prayer component ...an last i am fasting this morning also. I tell u not because i want any attention but to remind u of how we fight wen life is too much an is overwhelming an wen we want to get Gods Attention an Help. Prayer...Fasting..an Almsgiving..3..a knot of 3 cords is stronger than 1 or 2 strands...The Bible says that a 3 Strand will not break. An so...this is even better if u join someone an it b 2 or even 3  doing this together for an intention....it is very simple an personal an does not have to b alot or lengthy or the same things i did.  God bless...look for Gods Miracles......plz remember me ....Blessed Sunday...rest an enjoy...dance in the kitchen an get someone u luv chocolate an flowers.😊

Sometimes in life we r given Sacrificial Love ...in my case from my Dear Mother...an then when the tables turn we get called to give that same Love in return.

Mom...it has been my awesome privilege to journey with you all these years...to put into practice all we say we believe in from The Gospel...day in an day out. The world has lost its respect for the value of all life...from conception to natural death. Our elders r forgotten an buried long before they die. The lessons learned an growth achieved in this most marvelous journey of caregiving can never be attained elsewhere. I pray we all look in our family circles an find those chronically ill an those too old to care for themselves an pray we gladly reach out to carry an love them through...to advocate an fight for their dignity an proper care.

I want to thank all the Medical Professionals who cared for Mom through all this. I especially thank all those Angels who served an helped me in any capacity to lighten my load an embellish Mom's life with Love an visits.

Prescription wen u dont no wat to do

We cannot force anything on anybody even if
reconciliation is their greatest desire also.   We cannot tell any one what to do or when. Wen we r unsure wat to do here is the prescription every time:

Go to church and sit in silence. Do this before the Blessed Sacrament and let Christ speak to you ...to your soul. Anytime your mind starts to interfere pleading or trying to bring forth its own agenda ask for it to be quiet and just be still asking Christ to speak clearly the how.. the if and the when of a meeting....dont rush this meeting...but dont delay...always remember the Scripture EVEN IF HIS MIND FAIL HIM referring to parents....but that applies to every human being including ourselves. Everyone is entitled to Mercy by God's Design. Try to approach this by watching cautiously ur tone...Do i sound like a modern catty demanding overbearing liberal person or do i reflect the Holy.. Loving.. Warm.. Obedient ..Conservative ..willing to Listen.. Patience of My Dear Mother Mary...this is the only sure way to become the saints God created us to b ...a saint an nothing less!!!!

caution about predicting sentiment or anxiety...one cannot  no a person really well with no regular contact or real relationship or without being God Himself...an remember no HAS TO...SHOULD HAVE...OR COULD HAVE...every one is free an if God doesnt take any of our freedom...or wag his pointer finger in our face then we cannot do that either....this is hard stuff wen we want revenge or wen we want so badly justice....

Obligation to attend holiday function or choice?

Feelings don't matter....
conscious decision of mind an will r all we need...a decision to Love God...decision to continue to grow...decision to Love even wen it is not deserved

As the 12 step programs teach make a decision to turn our will and life over to God.

If a ride alone is too much for u to attend a function don't go....friend/family gatherings r often superficial....we want to invest our energy in relationships an events that will fill us not drain us . wen in a weaker state..we must trust our inner voice....an ignore everyone else s guilt trip to do it their way or attend something that we r not comfortable with .
We may be putting ourselves in harm's way if we go an don't listen to our inner voice.

We have to learn to follow wat we no works for us regardless of opinions or obligation....no one will then come an cook or wash for us....or care for our responsibilities after.

Decide in wisdom...pray...but listen deeply an b sure God is first..you second in all our decisions

Move slowly...pray first before u decide anything

We must b cautious not to say we will pray for an answer without stopping an doing so ...otherwise it is our decision not Gods.

Life is precious from conception to natural death!

Forgive me for not writing. My 95 yr old Mom was very ill an in hospital an rehab for 2 mths. By the grace of God she is home an i am her full time care giver an so my limited time to b able to write. Many people r caring for the sick an i thought it might b gd to share the following with u.

I can never agree with a persons choice to die...assisted suicide or euthanasia. It is a totally different thing when naturally the body shuts down ..wen we choose not to use extraordinary means to save a life...but if we stop giving food an water a person starves or dehydrates to death...a painful process...not to say thirst an hunger don't naturally diminish close to death but small amounts of food an water r given until a person naturally goes leaving the decision of death to God. Here is a long but clear view of the Catholic Church's view on the Bioethics of death an dying based in The Scriptures from The Old Testament

"God did not make death, nor does He rejoice in the destruction of the living."
WISDOM 1:13

I think it may b good  to read this in its entirety to better understand  our Catholic view ...mayb a different view from our own. An even now as we all journey towards God...this process for my Mom an i is a time of growth an development.  For where in life does a soul learn real total dependence on God but in the position we r in?..where does a soul develop Godly patience an heroic courage an kindness an luv...qualities of the great saints before us?  There is an appointed time for our passing...an we must never rush that nor interfere with that ...an prayer is the only vehicle that can give us  deep discernment where we may hear from God an obey without full understanding following the example of Father Abraham before us. May God Himself guide us an invade our privacy to hear ONLY HIS VOICE...that we may know His Perfect Will an have the courage to do it!!  All Life from conception to natural death is precious!  May we live according to this Truth ..
