There is a Psalm from The Bible that is very powerful an used during times like these. Often wen we r interceding for someone we read some Chapter from the Bible every day for that person. Psalm 91 is the perfect reading for wen someone is ill...the Psalms r beautiful an come from both the Jewish an Christian traditions.....consider reading This Psalm daily for ur loved one's healing an for u....read it slowly an try to 'stand' on every word with deep conviction...sometimes reading It out loud or singing It can help one not to become 'bored' with the repetition...remember The Holy Word of God has Power..It is The Breath an Words of Our God..we Catholics believe that God's Word is equal to His Body and Blood in The Eucharist!!!...by the end of it all, the Words will have Greater Meaning than wen u started an one often feels a deeper connection to God after doing this.
