Fear of the future...

Poem My friend's grandmother once gave her as a tip:

In difficult times, you move forward in small steps.  Do what you have to do, but little by little.  Don't think about the future, or what may happen tomorrow.  Wash the dishes. Remove the dust.  Write a letter.  Make a soup.   You see?You are advancing step by step.  Take a step and stop.  Rest a little.  Praise yourself.  Take another step.  Then another.  You won't notice, but your steps will grow more and more.  And the time will come when you can think about the future without crying.

Year of St Joseph

Dont forget to stay under the protective arms of Good St Joseph ...ask his help in all things. It is his year!!! Pope Francis declared this on Our Lady's Feast Dec 8, 2020.

The man and the birds

i hope an pray u r enjoying these Holy Days. i wanted to share a 5 min story with u...."The man an the birds." It comes from long long ago an was broadcast on the radio initially. I worked with a priest named Fr. Thomas Kelly, a Franciscan (may he rest in peace) who preached this story every yr.  The moral of the story is Jesus became a human being...one of us...that we might feel understood by Our God...we could

relate to Him since He experienced everything we have except for sin.  Therefore we mite listen to His Teachings because He was one of us an we could understand Him. Wen u get a chance consider giving a listen to this story...i promise it will b meaningful an has the potential to continue to rise up an make us think about these things(message of story) as the yrs go by. Who knows, u may already no of it.

I  promise to continue to carry u an ur family deep in my prayers. I hope all r safe an healthy. Plz stay strong an hold on to the wise words of a holy priest who preached at 1 of the Masses i served at last weekend, "Nothing...

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING is Impossible for Our God!  Stay Encouraged! Merry Christmas!  angie
