Healthy boundaries with bullies/dictators in our lives

Here's a way to reply kindly yet adult to adult wen someone in ur life is pushing their agenda .

'Ty for sharing this with me.  i want to share a few things with u so u can better understand me.  i have been 'working' on myself my entire adult life thru my deep spiritual relationship with God, thru retreats an hermitage, thru my spiritual directors etc. i have learned to listen an discern God in my life an wat i need to do an wen. i want u to understand that my faith walk...Jesus Christ, my practice of my religion...the Sacraments...r first in my life. Other things can b tools an a place of growing an learning, but it is not my lifeline...God is. An walkin with God for me is incredibly individual...in life wat is the rt decision for one is not necessarily rt for another.  i need to listen an do wat God is leading me to. i so appreciate ur heart an who u r an all ur help.  i ask that u respect my discernment an God workin in my life even if it is not wat u think is best for me... an i want to do the same for u.'

We learn over time how to stand up against those who continue to try an control us...bully us...an shame us into doin the things they want us to do an say .  It takes time an practice to remind others that we r adults..that they dont know wat is best for us...That the only advice one has that means anything is "turn to God in prayer...He knows wat is best an He will guide u to the answer!"

Let us grow an answer these people in kindness an respect as we develop healthy boundaries for ourselves. Getting other people's approval or making everyone
happy needs to b removed from the equation. The Only Approval we need us God's!

I love snow!

I luv snow. When I was young we had a foot or two every two or three weeks. We had so much fun in it sleighing and ❄ 👼 ...⛄ playing.. Making forts an snow angels..cleaning up in front of the house ...

cleaning the car off and I just remember the walks with the big snowflakes coming down ..I still love that today when we have it, but we have had a very mild winter so to see the snow for me was a joy. It brings back great memories... nothing finer than walking to Daily Mass at 6 a.m. when it's snowing flakes the size if silver dollars and no one is on the road neither walking or in cars.. the quiet Stillness is absolutely out of this world.

gentle...kind...loving...calm...

Our Lady of Fatima appeared to 3 children in 1917. The Feast is this week, May 13th, the date of the first Visitation. Prayer an Fasting; IT IS TIME!!

i pray God bless u an that u an ur families r well. i am writing this at 3 am after bein called to read a tiny book HOW TO FAST SUCCESSFULLY.  i originally found this in a church many years ago an refound it yesterday in a pile of paperwork in my home. It speaks of individual prayer, fasting and the need for these to b also done collectively in a group. i would like for us to find 2 other God Chasers an join together under the concept of Mt 18:19-20

"19 Again I say to you, that if two of you shall consent upon earth, concerning anything whatsoever they shall ask, it shall be done to them by My Father Who is in Heaven. 20 For where there are two or three gathered together in My Name, there am I in the midst of them."
and Eccles4:9-10,12
"[9] It is better therefore that two should be together, than one: for they have the advantage of their society: [10] If one fall he shall be supported by the other: woe to him that is alone, for when he falleth, he hath none to lift him up.12 And if a man prevail against one, two shall withstand him: A THREEFOLD CORD IS NOT EASILY BROKEN."

There are very few people in the world that have the Faith to want to do something like this an then to find one who is willing to join others in a like pursuit. We have connected on the prayer and fasting for a long time but i believe we need to reignite the Fire in our practice of it an do it formally with a 'tribe' of our own. . i would like to suggest that we pray and fast for the healing (mind, body, soul,spirit, emotions,depression, stress, memories etc), salvation (coming to know Jesus Christ as Savior an truly loving Him) an conversion (come to the fullness of Faith an become the saint we were created to
 b ) for ourselves, our spouses an our children. The enemy wants to break up families an try to destroy us an our children and bring us to points of despair an exhaustion including health issues that can interfere with our Ministries an serving God. It is time for God's people to rise again an return to our 'OLD TIME RELIGION'.  To this list u may add watever u an ur tribe wants.

Pick a day that works for ur tribe.  Wed an Fri have been days of fasting an prayer since the early church.

Full Moon affects everyone

I am not a superstitious woman but the affects of full moon on people go without question. I learned this first hand wen my son developed seizures. His pediatric neurologist, an orthodox Jewish man, told me
"I am not a superstitious man, but when there is a full moon i am busiest because people with seizures often have  severe neurological manifestations...seizures...
complications during full moon.  Many years later another neuro specialist, this time a devote Roman Catholic, told me the same thing emphasizing emergency rooms r filled to overflowing with patients an his phone doesnt stop ringing during full moon.

As i started to c clearly the affects on my son, as a caregiver for both my parents an one who helps many people on a daily basis, i started to c that full moon not only affected those with seizures, but affected  everyone to some degree physically, emotionally, in behavior an moods, etc.

Today, May 7, 2020, is full moon. Today b alert to watch for the impact on those around u an urself an try to b more compassionate an patient with each other encouraging one another to eat better...exercise some an rest wen needed.  An let us b quick to apologize if our own temper flairs or we become impatient with others around us. One can experience symptoms a wk before...to a week after.  Even if u dont have symptoms it still affects u.

This concept again gives us gd excuse to practice patience, love, compassion, kindness...the list of marvelous virtues we want to develop in order to become more an more like Jesus Christ.

One day wen there was a full moon,  I was taking a walk by the river as usual.   I noticed that the water was all the way down .  One could have actually walked out into the river  because the tide was out at sea .  About 8 or 10 hours later I took another walk by that same river in the same place and at that point the river was high enough to come up on the walkway where people were gathered. I had never seen the water that low or that high before.  It was then that my eyes were allowed to see the impact the full moon has on tides. Full moon...it affects the tides in the oceans...an if it affects the water an tides we can c...it surely can affect the tides of water in our bodies an minds...this just makes sense!

Up to 60% of the human adult body is water. According to H.H. Mitchell, Journal of Biological Chemistry 158, the brain and heart are composed of 73% water, and the lungs are about 83% water.

Take time to research more about how much water affects our minds an bodies an therefore our health..emotions an moods...drink.....drink drink more water😉

" Press in!!!  When it gets lonely...when you can't see the Son behind the clouds... Press in!!!  Only a God chasing saint will make it in this world. Do not settle in and get used to the distance. Do not accept the gap between you and He... Press in!!!...run after...grab on..  plead...beg...cry... pray...yell....scream louder....even be still and listen!!   Press in until God, in His Great Mercy Smiles and Let's a Beam of Sonlight come through. Always remember Jacob with a broken hip.   He cleaved and hung on to God without relent until he received His Blessing. So for a God Chaser, giving up...weakening is NEVER an option!! It is time we put into practice all that we have been taught!! Get to work child of God!! ...Strengthen your weary knees... get into the Word... own His Promises...press on.. and the Lord of all will hold your arms up for you as they did for Moses. You CAN stand!!!  You CAN do it!!! You are more than a conqueror in Christ Jesus!!! You CAN do ALL things...ALL things through Christ... The Lord of the mountains...The One Whose Command Moves the seas...the planets.. every living creature, all things. You CAN do ALL things through Christ Who strengthens you!!!!!

I was sharing with a friend ...we discussed fear....here r some of the points we covered.

"Feel the fear an do it anyway!" This is a great phrase to help us overcome fear.
 
Another friend told him many yrs ago, "The opposite of fear is faith". 

"Fear is useless wat is needed is Trust" ... Jesus spoke that to St Faustina in The Divine Mercy Revelations. Trust in God....therefore if our connection to God is real we can actually start to trust ourselves because of our connection to The Divine.  There is a movie online by Bishop Barron who is one of the greatest Catholic Evangelists of our time. He made a movie about St Catherine of Sienna. I luv it because St Catherine was  illiterate and did not have an education. Yet she was a great Mystic and declared Doctor of the Church. The movie brings forward a mystic's walk with God which develops the self-esteem.. builds a person up ...is so precious an  innocent yet with great convictions.  I find it greatly inspiring. But the connection here is he brings the movie to a place to talk about our own divination.. not that we become gods.. perfect ,but there's a process of us becoming more like the Divine and it is powerful an uplifting to hear . Self esteem is a very difficult thing to work on. There is a fine line from knowing our value an the sin of pride.  True self esteem knows we r "made in the Image an Likeness of God".   It knows we deserve, as every human being, respect an love. The Spark of God is in every one of us an therefore everyone deserves our kindness an respect. There comes a time wen we learn our value an it becomes less an less necessary to demand it from others or even correct them. Humility plays a sacred role as we build a healthy holy self esteem in God .  We can let another win in a battle even though we may actually be rt for love an mercy's sake .Wen we start to b able to do this, we no we r starting to walk a little more with The Divine rather than humans.  It is vitally important for us to cleave to God so that all our attempts to grow insure we r getting the proper Sonlight, Water an Nutrients to insure a great outcome an therefore a great harvest. Let's let God lead us in our healing an self esteem work an we will surely surpass the world's view of wat a healthy self esteem is an reach heights we never thought possible.  An let us forgive everyone in family...friends..teachers...all those who influenced us negatively by bullying us or telling us we weren't gd enough all our lives... because in practicing this higher principle of forgiveness we obey God an the fruit of obedience is beyond anything we can imagine. It is time to start on a different routine!

Let us as Christians start to use our time wisely. It is time for hours in prayer, it is time to simplify our homes and clean drawers closets and drop off things to the poor.. everything we won't and cannot use. It is time to call people and have phone conferences to pray and encourage others. It is time to shut the television unless it is beautiful, uplifting ,God focused. News will not do anything but depress us and our families. It is time to cook beautiful meals. It is time to dance in the kitchen again....lets start different tomoro. He is gd. I am tired an a little under the weather but now i can focus on me a bit. The adjustment.... the long needed discussions of the reality that both he an i thought he was going to die alone in a hosp during this pandemic....it is surreal...
overwhelming...mind bogaling....all in a gd way.  Ptsd....but we have tears an joy that will take gd care of us!  LOVE WINS ...LOVE WINS EVERY TIME ...OH MY...TY GOD!!😂
We r psychologically drained ...we ate we talked...he layed down ....so i took a nap.. any time he sleeps i must rest cause i need to rest. 

This is important for all of us calling people too much an wanting details of their experiences with covid19.  We r Not up for texting or calls...we find it interesting how many who never really reached for us in normal life now come forward ..we need the quiet loving silent prayerful support that requires no effort from us...so plz do not call or text rt now unless u can send  a hug with NO expectation of reply.  Too many on a plight to talk things out with us about all this....i no everyone means well. everyone has too much time on their hands now but everyone must just b our prayer shield for both of us now praying for us to b healed an well...an for us to continue to have Gods protection.
