Ash Wed 2020

Lets all try to get to a Mass tomoro for Ash Wed to start Lent well. Remember if u r Catholic no meat tomoro an fasting (only 1 meal) both r manditory. May God grant us all a fruitful life changing Lent so we can become the best versions of ourselves...the saints we were created to b. . Lets pray for each other too!  🙏💒....

Mom first yr in Heaven

My Mother, ANGELINA, luved silver dollar pancakes...she smothered them in butter an syrup...gd to the last drop. I never order pancakes....Her 1 yr anniversary is Jan 28...so i am at the diner we would go to eating her pancakes...with a cup of decaf coffee....i added banana an whipped cream to make it mine😊sensing her Loving Presence across from me.

Christmas Meaning

It all began this nite ...A Love never before experienced...
The Treasure of all treasures....may Christ Himself b All for u...for ur children an grandchildren an all those u love!

This Holy Season reminds us of so many things...Jesus' Birthday...but much more important than that, a time to look in the mirror an see wat areas of our lives He is asking for conversion...for us to change an grow...so that we mite help the world ,which is so lost, to see Him in disguise thru our actions even more than our words...to also prepare ourselves for His Glorious Second Coming which we look an yearn for...wen we will finally see His Glorious Face either thru death or His Long Awaited Return. ..i promise u my continued prayers for u an urs...plz pray for me...Blessed Christmas to all!!  Remember Christmas in the Catholic Church is an octave.  Each day after Christmas Day IS still Christmas ....it is 8 days. Caution: Wen we want to serve in every ministry...

Pray to God what ministries He wants from you. It is not good to be in many groups and not a master at any of them. Pray where God wants you and do what He says. Sometimes we Christians Catholics believe that the more things we participate in the more God is pleased and that is often not the case. Especially if we cannot give 100% to where we are both at home first then at work and then in the various ministries.

We have to keep our eye on whether our involvement in many activities is a bit obsessive compulsive. We have to see whether we think we have to earn heaven and maybe we think more is better.  we should discern what does God want us to do and often He prefers us to stay home and love on our family then to be running around wearing ourselves out thinking that our salvation is something we have to do rather than a gift that God already did for us. I will pray for you in this regard. As we mature I have found people require more silence.. less activites.. a desire for intimate Union with Christ rather than the social aspects of groups and doing doing doing. Please don't do what i tell you ....take this information i have given and go to God and pray and you will know where he wants you to be. Praised b Jesus Christ now am forever!

Friday an fasting

Today is Friday and it has been a long time practice from the early church fathers and mothers that Christians fasted on Fridays. The Scriptures say the three-fold cord to win over the Heart of God and please Him is prayer ..fasting and almsgiving. Too often we make a goal too hard to achieve with fasting. Fasting can be pushing away one cookie or driving in the car without the radio on or not watching your favorite TV show. We start small and then build upon it. This helps us become more mindful of God throughout the day. Let's try today 2 fast in one simple way and offer it in Thanksgiving to Jesus for all that He suffered... taking our place on the Cross on Good Friday. The Gospel for today was from Luke chapter 5: 33 to 39 .  One Line from that says.. "but the days will come when the Bridegroom is taken away from them then they will fast in those days."  Try to read the entire Passage wen u can.   And in this practice of fasting we aim to become new wineskins able to receive the New Wine that God wants to pour into us and into our lives. Praised be Jesus Christ now and forever!!!

First Friday...SACRED HEART OF JESUS

Our Lord Jesus appeared to St Mary Margaret an gave great promises to those who hold dear this devotion to His Mist Sacred Heart.  Here is the list of promises Jesus gave.  Look up this devotion....i learned it from my Mom....her favorite prayer an now mine
MOST SACRED HEART OF JESUS I PLACE ALL MY TRUST IN THEE!

To all Caregivers...an Disabled

What I have found in my own life as a caregiver is people r afraid to get involved with anyone especially if they have a seizure disorder... neurological impairment...
vision/perception issues... Neuropsychiatric issues and mental illness.. including but not limited to ..anxiety, depression ,bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, dementia, memory loss, Alzheimer's....of any age...They are scared by what they don't know or understand and don't have the gift to love someone through yet  They can also be very judgmental and opinionated when they know nothing of what is going on. Sometimes it is just too painful for them to see someone they care about suffering so much. ..an sometimes it is just plain neglect an lack of compassion..But watever the case may be...I totally understand one's sense of Abandonment from many people. i have shared much with regard to some of the similar sufferings that we encountered as people caring for someone so very sick physically ,neurologically and/or mentally. ...Be patient...serve with all ur heart as if for Jesus Himself without focusing on who is not there .For in the end we caregivers an those we serve r granted memories that will last into Eternity.  God knows all we do an the rewards both now an later promise to b OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!

Dont b cheep with air conditioning in churches

Church leaders...plz do not b opposed to using ur air conditioning... Plz consider putting AC on early enough to make it comfortable for ur congregation.  It will help  people feel comfortable an b able to focus more on prayer. Most services have older people attending..an many with serious health issues..most people cannot tolerate high humidity with heat ..  Some churches consider it a ministry to keep church cool for poor people to come an get some relief from oppressive heat even during weekdays. People come into church but if ac is not on, sometimes they leave an go to other churches or go home ...an some elderly wont come to church because they feel they cannot count on the heat an ac to b at a level where they can b safe. Praying for u as u continue to take care of ur congregations which is no easy job! 

Become Intercessors... 3 or more people same day weekly

Let us renew our commitment of serious Warfare for ourselves our spouses and our children.  May we all be healed... saved.. come to know Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior and stay truly committed to the Holy Roman Catholic church and its teachings. May our marriages be healed ...resurrected restored ...brought a flame again ...May our children..spouses and we ourselves become the saints that God created us to be so we may one day share the Face-to-face vision of God in heaven....
